Rohayl Varind wins World Summit Youth Award 2014-2015
Along the passing time, Rohayl has acquired excellent organizational planning, with documented success overcoming challenges of limited resources and financial constraints to design high-quality, cost-effective and comprehensive service offerings.
He became more skilled in building community support, key coalitions and strategic interagency partnerships, backed with solid credentials and equal strengths in program, personnel and case management.
The Almighty Creator never does injustice with good people. And it was proven when the strife of all these years finally blossomed its first fruit when Rohayl Varind was announced to be the Winner at World Summit Youth Award for the year 2014 & 2015. This made him The world’s second youngest to reach such a position. An achievement in itself!
The Award:
Rohayl was prefered by 40 International Jurors from around the world for World Summit Youth Award. Around 2000 contestants participated with their projects from 138 countries.

To collect his award, he has been officially invited to Brazil in 2015 where he’ll collect the award from eminent global personalities in the presence of officials from Brazilian Government, United Nations and many more dignitaries.
About World Summit Youth Award:The World Summit Youth Award is organised by the World Summit Award Network since 2003. First one given away in 2005, and thereafter in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Also, they organise the “European Youth Award” for young people around the world which focuses on youth using Internet and Mobile to take Action on the MDGs. The WSYA Team is based at the International Centre for New Media (ICNM), an independent non-profit organisation in Salzburg, Austria. ICNM collaborates with over 100 organizations and institutions in multimedia technology and e-content creation industries in 35 European countries.
On a global scale the ICNM has initiated and is organising in 168 countries within the UN framework of the World Summit on the Information Society WSIS, the “World Summit Award” in cooperation with UNIDO, UNESCO, ITU, ISOC, UN GAID and UNDP. The “World Summit Award Mobile” has been launched in 2010.
