Animals are rewilding our cities and streets during Coronavirus lockdown
The coronavirus outbreak sends humans indoors due to lockdown, self-isolation/quarantine, and social distancing, wild animals take back what was once theirs.
In several countries, the constant busy roads, the background noise of cars, bikes, trucks, and passersby was abruptly replaced by silence several weeks ago when the provincial and federal governments imposed a nationwide lockdown in their provinces and countries to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. Animals have taken this disruption as an opportunity to explore and move freely without any fear on the empty streets of some of the world’s largest urban areas.
A youtube user named “Nature Connection” posted this video a few days ago.
On April 15, 2020 the Kruger National Park tweeted
